INTEGRITY RESEARCH
2018-PRESENT I employed a range of quantitative methods in order to understand social problems and their impact on users' experiences. I've conducted dozens of large-scale survey studies to identify pain points and recommended techniques for mitigating bad experiences. I used advanced statistical techniques and big data to understand how bad experiences are distributed across Facebook App. I translated complex research insights into strategic recommendations used to build product solutions for our 3 billion users. 2013-2016 While completing my Ph.D. I got the opportunity to apply my research skills to solve real world problems as a Research Associate at Ersoylu Consulting, which provides research and consulting services for non-profits to boost their social impacts. I developed product sense and I design and execute evaluations of a range of non-profit programs by designing and implementing surveys, analyzing quantitative and qualitative, writing evaluation reports, and presenting findings to stake holders. I earned my PhD in Sociology at the University of California in June 2016, where I learned a range of skills including quantitative and qualitative data analysis, presentation techniques, and grant writing. |
MARKET RESEARCH
2018-2016 I joined the Hypothesis Group as an Associate Consultant where I honed my product sense, learned how to build narrative-driven reports, and refined my research skills. As a member of the the Advanced Analytics team, I used surveys and advanced statistical methods to provide consumer insights to a variety of clients. ACADEMIC RESEARCH
2009-2016 I worked on a diverse range of research projects while earning my PhD at University of California, Irvine. My research focused on Social Movements, Political Sociology and Organizational Theory. I was interested in understanding how people form groups and organizations to affect change within their community. |
